We planted the radishes and immediately felt very accomplished.

They were crisp. Peppery. Exactly what radishes are supposed to be when you don’t wait too long and let them turn woody out of politeness.
The lesson landed quietly.
Some things move faster than our expectations. Some wins don’t build slowly — they just show up and say, Ready when you are. And sometimes the only mistake is assuming everything needs more time.
Now, when we plant radishes, we pay attention.
